mostly clear skies will continue throughout tonight with east
southeast winds around 10 knots. Late tonight through early tomorrow
morning morning...thunderstorms will develop across central and
west central OK. Some of these storms could become severe with
hail being the main threat.

showers/storms will be possible later tonight into Thursday morning
across parts of central and northern OK as low level jet develops. A few of
these storms may become strong to severe. Thunderstorms will be
possible again Thursday afternoon/night with severe storms possible in SW
portions of the forecast area. Models show upper ridge developing over the
region over the next several days. However... despite the ridge...
impulses moving through the flow will also aid in storm
development. Showers/storms will remain possible into this
weekend.
Models show an upper trough moving closer to the region late this
weekend/early next week with shower and storm chances remaining
across parts of the forecast area.
