Tonight
West winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet along the coast and 2 to 4 feet with occasional seas to 5 feet in the Gulf Stream. Dominant period 4 seconds. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop. Showers likely and a chance of thunderstorms through midnight, decreasing after midnight. Winds and seas higher in showers and thunderstorms.

North northwest winds 20 to 25 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet with occasional seas to 5 feet along the coast and 6 to 8 feet with occasional seas to 10 feet in the Gulf Stream. Dominant period 7 seconds. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop. A chance of showers in the morning.

to 8 PM EDT Saturday.

* Winds and waves: a southwest wind will increase to near 20
knots this afternoon and then shift to the north tonight with
seas building to 8 feet.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 21 to 33 knots
are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
Inexperienced mariners... especially those operating smaller
vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.
