Synopsis For Baffin Bay To Rio Grande Out 60 Nm-
Synopsis
A light to moderate easterly flow will continue through tonight across the Lower Texas coastal waters with moderate Gulf seas continuing. A broad area of low pressure working through the western Gulf of Mexico will interact with a ridge of high pressure located across the Gulf Coast states resulting in steadily strengthening winds on Sunday. Small Craft Advisory conditions will be likely again on Sunday. Tropical Storm Ida will move into the south central Gulf of Mexico late Sunday. As a result the Lower Texas Gulf winds and seas are expected to remain elevated through early next week.
