Synopsis For High Island To Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 Nm
Easterly winds tonight will increase in strength as an area of low pressure over the northwest Gulf lifts north into the northwest Gulf. Wave heights will build this evening in response to these stronger winds. Scattered to numerous showers and possibly a few thunderstorms will continue into Monday. Winds will become northerly on Monday as the low tracks into the waters south of Louisiana. Offshore flow will continue well into Wednesday as high pressure settles into southeast Texas.
