River la from 20 to 60 nm...
coastal waters from Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to Port
Fourchon Louisiana from 20 to 60 nm...
coastal waters from the Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to
Port Fourchon Louisiana out 20 nm...

* until 100 am CDT

* at 1153 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated a large line and cluster
of strong thunderstorms... capable of producing winds to 40 knots
and small hail... the leading edge of which was located along a
line extending from near Grand Isle to 20 nm south of Grand Isle
to 15 nm southwest of Southwest Pass of Mississippi River... moving
southwest at 10 knots.

* Locations impacted include...
Timbalier Bay... Grand Isle and Timbalier Island.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Mariners can expect strong gusty winds... high waves... dangerous
lightning... and heavy rains. Boaters should seek safe Harbor
immediately... until these storms pass.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible... keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
