Synopsis
Strong high pressure...extending from the mid Atlantic states into the western Atlantic...will persist tonight into early next week. Hurricane Ida...moving through the southeast Gulf of Mexico...is forecast to move northward toward the north central Gulf of Mexico...and into the northern or northeast Gulf Coast. A cold front is expected to move across the area late Wednesday into Thursday.
