Statement as of 12:39 AM MST on February 14, 2012

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 PM MST this
afternoon for elevations above 5000 feet...

* timing... snow will become heavy at times through the night and
Tuesday morning. The snow will become showery Tuesday afternoon
and then taper off.

* Main impact... snowfall accumulations of 3 to 6 inches are
expected above 5000 feet by late Tuesday afternoon with locally higher
amounts along the southwest facing slopes of the Mogollon Rim.

* Other impacts... moderate to heavy snow and blowing snow will
restrict visibility to around a couple hundred feet at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of falling
snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery
roads and limited visibilities. Plan extra time for travel... and
use caution while driving. Take emergency travel supplies
