... Wind Advisory in effect from 8 PM this evening to 8 am PDT
The National Weather Service in the San Francisco Bay area has
issued a Wind Advisory... which is in effect from 8 PM this
evening to 8 am PDT Wednesday.
* Timing: this evening lasting into early Wednesday morning.
* Winds: east northeast winds will increase to 25 to 35 mph this
evening with occasional gusts to 45 mph at elevations below 1000
feet and up to 50 mph at elevations above 1000 feet.
* Impacts: these moderate to occasionally strong gusty winds will
be capable of bringing down trees and power lines and will make
driving difficult for high profile vehicles.
A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
