Statement as of 11:30 PM CST on March 02, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 9 am to 9 PM
CST Tuesday...

* timing... snow will develop early Tuesday morning and continue
through midday Tuesday. Additional light snow is anticipated
during the afternoon hours Tuesday.

* Storm total snow/ice accumulations... 1 to 2 inches

* winds/visibility... northwest winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts
over 40 mph are likely to cause periods of visibility
restrictions of less than one half mile at times during the
afternoon hours Tuesday.

* Impacts... brief periods of snow squalls are expected Tuesday
afternoon and will cause significant visibility restrictions
and drifting of snow on roads.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be
prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities... and
use caution while driving.
