Wind Chill Advisory
Issued: 7:39 PM CST Feb. 12, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 8 am CST
Saturday...

* timing... tonight into Saturday morning

* winds... northwest at 10 to 20 mph decreasing to 5 to 10 mph by
daybreak Saturday.

* Temperatures/wind chill values... temperatures will fall well
below zero and wind chill values will drop into the 20 below to
30 below range.

* Impacts... those with interests outdoors should dress warmly
and cover exposed skin... as frostbite and hypothermia are
possible if the proper precautions are not taken.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in
frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
If you must venture outdoors... make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.
