Johnson Severe Watches & Warnings NOAA Weather Radio

Special Statement
Statement as of 4:30 AM EST on January 25, 2015

...Light snow accumulations possible this evening...

Low pressure will track across the Ohio Valley today and tonight. Rain will develop this morning and continue into the afternoon. Cold air will move in from the north as the afternoon progresses... bringing a mix of rain and snow before precipitation changes over to all snow across northern portions of central Indiana late this afternoon into early evening.

Snow accumulations around one inch are expected along and north of the Interstate 74 corridor by late tonight. Some locations across the northern Wabash valley may see 1 to 2 inches by the time snow ends. Accumulations will drop off to less than an inch south of Interstate 74.

Roads could become slick and snow covered in spots this evening. In addition...gusty winds this evening may contribute to some blowing snow. Motorists are encouraged to monitor the latest forecasts as any changes in the track of the low pressure could impact expected conditions.
