... Windy... with cold wind chills... some icy roads... and light snow tonight...
Temperatures continue to plummet behind a cold front that has pushed through the region. Temperatures will continue to fall... and bottom out in the teens for low temperatures. This quick drop in Mercury readings will allow many untreated and unplowed roads to develop patches of ice. If venturing out tonight... drive at a reduced speed... and bundle up.
A strong pressure gradient will allow blustery westerly winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts as high as 35 mph to continue through Wednesday morning. Wind chills will bottom out tonight between 5 below to 5 above. Dress warm if venturing out! Wind chills will still be frigid on Wednesday... only rising into the low to mid teens due to the strong winds.
Last but not least... scattered snow showers will continue off and on. Most locations will pick up between a quarter of an inch up to 1 inch total. Heavier snow amounts will occur across north central Kentucky.

... Very cold temperatures... icy roads... and bursts of snow tonight...
A cold front is sweeping through the region this evening... ushering in much colder temperatures. Temperatures are dropping through the 20s this evening and will drop into the teens overnight. This may cause wet and slushy roads to refreeze leading to slick Road conditions. Travel conditions could become extremely icy... especially on wet side streets and country roads.
In the wake of the cold front winds will strengthen tonight. Sustained winds of 15 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 35 mph will be possible by Wednesday morning. Wind chills will bottom out tonight between 5 below to 5 above. Dress warm if venturing out overnight.
Last but not least... scattered snow showers will develop associated with the upper level low which is pushing through the region. Most locations will pick up between a quarter of an inch to an inch and a half of the white stuff.
