... Patchy dense fog and possible black ice...
Areas of fog will develop overnight across portions of far
southeastern Kansas and the Missouri Ozarks while temperatures
fall to or below freezing.
The fog will be locally dense especially west of Springfield into
the Joplin area where the visibility will be less than one half
of a mile in localized areas.
The fog in combination with damp roads and falling temperatures
will result in patchy slick spots mainly on bridges... overpasses
and secondary roads.
If traveling overnight... be alert for sudden changes in the
visibility over short distances... and for the possibility of black
