... Increased fire danger for southern portions of central North
Carolina today...

Brisk northwest winds between 20 and 30 mph along with minimum
relative humidity values between 20 and 25 percent and dry fine
fuels will result in an increased fire danger across the south
half of central North Carolina... generally south of Highway 64.

Any outdoor burning should be either be closely monitored or
delayed until the winds subside.
