* portions of north central North Dakota...northwest North Dakota...south central North Dakota and southeast North Dakota...including the following counties...in north central North Dakota...Bottineau...McHenry...Pierce...Renville... Rolette and Ward. In northwest North Dakota...Burke...Divide... Mountrail and Williams. In south central North Dakota... Burleigh...Kidder...McLean...Sheridan and Wells. In southeast North Dakota...Logan.

* From 10 am CDT this morning through Sunday afternoon

* between 1 and 3 inches of rainfall over nearly saturated soils.

* Flooding of creeks and stream and normally low drainage areas.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding. Monitor forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to move to higher ground should flooding develop.
