... Winter Storm Watch in effect from Sunday evening through late
Monday night...

The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a Winter
Storm Watch... which is in effect from Sunday evening through late
Monday night.

* Timing... bulk of accumulating snow from midnight CST until 9 PM
CST Monday.

* Snow accumulations... 6 to 8 inches with locally higher amounts

* Wind... northwest around 10 miles per hour Sunday night and 10 to
20 miles per hour Monday.

* Impacts... accumulating snow will cause slippery conditions on
roads and walkways. Roads will likely become snow covered.
Heavier snow will reduce visibility to less than one half mile
at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow... sleet... or ice accumulations that may impact travel.

Statement as of 3:12 AM MST on November 28, 2015

A storm system is expected to move across the Colorado and Wyoming
rockies and into the central and northern plains Sunday afternoon
through Monday. The storm is likely to produce significant snow.
Light snow will begin Sunday afternoon over southwest Nebraska and
spread north into the sandhills and north central Nebraska through
the evening. Snow will continue over western and north central
Nebraska through the day on Monday and end over north central
Nebraska Monday night. The storm is expected to produce an
extended period of snow... about 36 hours duration. At this
time... it appears that the heaviest storm totals will be over
central and north central Nebraska east of Highway 83.
