...Significant weather advisory for southern Stanton...northern Dodge...southern Boone...southwestern Cuming...Colfax...southern Madison and Platte counties until 245 PM CDT...

At 204 PM CDT...Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Beemer to 6 miles northwest of Albion...and moving southeast at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include... Columbus...West Point...Madison...Albion...Scribner...Hooper...Newman Grove...St. Edward...Beemer...Clarkson...Dodge...Howells...Leigh... Duncan...Platte Center...Snyder...Monroe...Lindsay...Creston and Humphrey.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms...and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
