Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 3:56 AM MST on March 03, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon CST
/11 am MST/ today...

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon CST /11 am
MST/ today.

* Timing... snow continues this morning and becomes light by late
morning.

* Snow accumulations... 1 to 3 inches with locally higher amounts across
northern Sheridan County and the Pine Ridge.

* Wind... north 20 to 30 mph gusting to 45 mph producing heavy
blowing snow at times.

* Impacts... strong winds and heavy blowing snow will reduce
visibility to 1/4 mile at times which will make travel
dangerous. Roads surfaces will fall below the freezing mark and
become ice and snow covered.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
visibility will be limited due to strong winds blowing snow
around. Use caution when traveling... especially in open areas.
