Winter Storm Warning
Statement as of 1:43 PM EST on December 06, 2013
... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 1 am EST
* hazard types... sleet and snow will become all snow which will
become heavy become heavy this afternoon into this evening.
* Accumulations... total snow accumulation of 5 to 9 inches... one
to two tenths of an inch of ice in eastern locations.
* Timing... the snow will become heavy at times this afternoon
into early evening. The best time for heavy snow will be
between 2 PM and 8 PM.
* Impacts... hazardous travel conditions are expected due to
reduced visibilities and snow accumulations. Some tree damage
and power outages may occur in localized areas of heavier ice
