Statement as of 8:32 PM EST on February 09, 2010 ... Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 7 PM EST Wednesday... ... Winter Storm Warning is cancelled... The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a Winter Weather Advisory which is in effect until 7 PM EST Wednesday. The Winter Storm Warning has been cancelled. Low pressure over Northern Ohio will shift to the East Coast early Wednesday. Periods of light to moderate snow will continue behind the low through Wednesday afternoon but significant snow accumulations are no longer expected. Additional accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are expected by daybreak Wednesday. Another 1 to 3 inches of snow will be possible during the day Wednesday. In addition... windy conditions will develop Wednesday afternoon causing considerable blowing and drifting snow. Winds will shift to the northwest Wednesday and increase to 15 to 25 mph with occasional higher gusts. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Weather Advisory is normally issued for a variety of winter weather conditions such as light snow... blowing snow... sleet... freezing rain and wind chills.
