Cloudy. Along the coast...slight chance of rain in the morning...areas of fog in the morning. Inland...patchy fog in the morning. Rain likely in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 40s to mid 50s. South winds 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.
Rain. Lows in the lower to mid 40s. Breezy. South winds 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain near 100 percent.
Thursday
Along the coast...rain...inland...rain in the morning...then rain likely in the afternoon. Highs in the lower to mid 50s. Breezy. South winds 15 to 25 mph. Gusts up to 40 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 80 percent.

The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a high wind watch... which is in effect from Thursday morning through Thursday evening.
* Timing: Thursday afternoon through evening. The best estimate for window of highest winds is between 2 PM and 8 PM Thursday.
* Winds: south winds will increase to 30 to 40 mph with possible gusts to 60 mph. The main threat area is from around Gold Beach to Port Orford and Cape Blanco.
* Impacts: this looks like a low-end event. Gusts to 60 mph could produce local downwed trees and power outages... and will impact travel of high profile vehicles on exposed stretches of Highway 101.
