morning to 3 PM CST this afternoon...
* timing... worst conditions from early Tuesday morning through
early Tuesday afternoon.
* Accumulations... up to 2 inches of snow is possible... with
highest amounts west of Platte.
* Wind and visibility... north to northwest winds of 30 to 40 mph
will be common... with some gusts around 45 mph possible Tuesday
morning. The combination of strong winds and falling snow will
occasionally reduce visibility to a mile or less. Drifting snow
will also impact travel through the early afternoon.
* Wind chill values... wind chill values will fall to around zero
by late afternoon.
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to a combination of falling and
blowing snow. Use caution when traveling... especially in open
