Scattered showers and thunderstorms continued to develop over the middle Tennessee. At 345 PM the strongest thunderstorms were occurring from Dickson to Cannon to Marshall counties. Look for more storms to develop across all of middle Tennessee this afternoon. Look for strong and gusty winds, dangerous lightning strikes and possible small hail as these storms pass through. Movement is southeast around 10 miles an hour.

... Strong thunderstorms expected across northern middle Tennessee...
Strong isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected across north
middle Tennessee and the Cumberland Plateau through 9 PM. These storms
may produce wind gusts to 40 mph... pea to Marble sized hail... and
frequent dangerous lightning. Slow movement may also produce minor
flooding and or standing water on roadways.
