Statement as of 8:26 AM CDT on May 27, 2015

The Flood Warning continues for
the Red River at index, Arkansas north of Texarkana.
* From Thursday morning until further notice... or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 800 am Wednesday the stage was 22.7 feet.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 25 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Thursday late morning and
continue to rise to near 30.0 feet by Monday morning.
* Impact... at 29.0 feet... general inundation of farm and grazing
lowlands will occur. Ranchers should have completed evacuation of
cattle and equipment to higher ground. Expect water to rise well
up on levee systems.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Red River near DeKalb, Texas at Pecan Point.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 700 am Wednesday the stage was 33.5 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 24 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 34.3 feet by
Thursday early afternoon then begin falling.
* Impact... at 34.5 feet... near record flooding of some twenty thousand
acres will continue. Severe backwater flooding of Pecan and Nolan
bayous occurs. The U.S. Highway 259 bridge Road approaches flood.
Texas Highway bridges 8 and 37 will likely flood and close. Move
livestock and equipment to higher ground.

the Sulphur river near Naples, Texas.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 700 am Wednesday the stage was 27.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 29.0 feet by
Saturday morning then begin falling.
* Impact... at 31.0 feet... expect flooding to continue for several more
days as the river slowly falls.

.Isolated thunderstorms developed across northwest Louisiana
and southwest Arkansas during the evening hours on Monday may
25... ahead of a squall line. Although there were reports of
large hail and strong winds with the isolated storms ahead of
the squall line... the squall line produced the majority of the
wind damage as it moved across the arklatex.

Survey summary: the damage primarily consisted of numerous snapped and
uprooted trees... and several snapped power poles. Several homes in and
around Henderson received minor to moderate damage. Embedded in the
damage path were distinct areas of strong wind speeds. Two separate
swaths of considerable tree damage were noted... one about 5 miles
west-southwest of Henderson and another about 7 miles east-northeast
of Henderson.

area in southern Bossier Parish as a line of severe thunderstorms
moved across the region.

Survey_summary: numerous trees were uprooted and snapped primarily
on the east side of Jena as an isolated severe thunderstorm moved
from north to south. Several trees fell on houses.
