Statement as of 8:06 PM CDT on March 27, 2015

The Flood Warning continues for
the Sabine River near Deweyville.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 6:45 PM Friday the stage was 25.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 26.0 feet by
Monday evening then begin falling.
* Impact... at stages near 26.0 feet... moderate lowland flooding will
occur. The lowest homes between Deweyville and the river begin to
flood, especially in the Indian Lakes and River Oaks sections.
Low-lying roads and a few homes in southwestern Beauregard Parish
have some flooding.

335 PM CDT Fri Mar 27 2015

... A Flood Warning remains in effect until 230 PM CDT Monday for
the Neches River affecting northwestern Orange... east central Hardin
and southern Jasper
counties...

At 331 PM CDT... reporting gauges indicated flooding is ongoing along
the Neches River. The water levels on the Neches River at Weiss
Bluff are estimated to be near 15.3 feet and the latest reading from
the Neches saltwater barrier is 5.6 feet. The river is near crest
and will fluctuate near current levels for through Saturday before
falling slowly.

These water levels will continue to cause additional flooding to
low lying communities along the river in northwest Orange County
from around Lake View to the saltwater barrier through the
weekend.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lakeview and Weiss Bluff.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or has been
reported.
