Statement as of 9:22 PM CDT on May 29, 2015

The Flood Warning continues for the Guadalupe River near Bloomington.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 8 PM Friday... the stage was 26.8 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Forecast: the river will continue rising to near 27.9 feet by
Sunday early afternoon. The river will then begin to fall on
Monday, down to 25.9 feet by Wednesday evening.
* At 28.0 feet, major flooding approaches the river levees near the
San Antonio River confluence. Miles of Highway 35 and the flood plain
near it flood, cutting off many homes and flooding a fishing Camp
near Tivoli. Hundreds of livestock are cut off and potentially drown.

The Flood Warning continues for the San Antonio River at Goliad.
* Until Saturday evening... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 8 PM Friday... the stage was 31.4 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* Forecast: the river will fall below flood stage Saturday evening.
* At 32.0 feet, roads and several Camp sites through Goliad State Park
flood. Moderate lowland flooding above Goliad to the Guadalupe River
confluence, cuts livestock off and potentially drowns them.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* a portion of south Texas... including the following areas...
Aransas... Bee... Calhoun... Duval... Goliad... Jim Wells...
Kleberg... La Salle... Live Oak... McMullen... Nueces... Refugio...
San Patricio... Victoria and Webb.

* From 1 PM CDT this afternoon through Sunday morning

* there is a potential for heavy rainfall Saturday and Saturday
night over south Texas associated with a slow southward moving
frontal boundary. Rainfall rates may exceed flash flood
thresholds and result in widespread flash flooding.
