Does anyone know the transmission times of wireless weather stations? One place told me it was 30 seconds between transmissions. FRED!

It all depends on the model. And some models even depend on the conditions. I've got a La Crosse WS2310. During periods of low wind, it updates something like every 2 minutes. When there's higher wind, it (supposedly) updates every 30 seconds. However, since we never have winds high enough to trigger this, I've never seen 30 second updates.

And I know you didn't ask this, but figured I'd post for completeness: if the sensor is attached via wire, it updates every 8 seconds (supposedly; I haven't tested that, either).
