Hurricane Georges - 9/21/1998

11 years ago today, Hurricane Georges maked landfall in Puerto Rico. Georges hit Puerto Rico as a Category 3 major hurricane with winds of 115mph. The hurricane caused extremely heavy flooding and damage up to $2 billion. 8 people died in this hurricane. Georges continued to cross the islands of the Caribbean during the next couple of days.
