To me, WRT the storm of controversy that is this topic, had EACRU responded in a timely, ethical and proper fashion to the many FOIA requests, and therefore been open about their data and conclusions as per usual/normal scientific methods, then they would have *much* better ground to be standing on.As it is, they instead appear to be like New Orleans, below sea level while facing a large 'cane.And because of this, they've made the people who defend them look foolish...

Yesterday Dr. Jeff enjoyed the use of his 'bully pulpit' to make some points he thinks need making in regards to human-created global warming.My response posted below. Gutcast:E stays together enough to pass thru Carib & into 'hamas. There, strengthens & organizes a la GFDL, stays offshore of Fl headed N while feeding on the GS, and comes to see us in the Carolinas as a Cat3/low4.Blech.Hoping my 5/6 day forecast is wrong... but preparing like it ain't.:)

...and I am back for a seasons weather blogging from down at the waterline. :)It's been great so far this year, what with not much to report. :) 94L is out there at present, and of course I am hoping s/he/it stays 'out there'. We have had a couple storms go by so far, well offshore, far enough that we got some clouds, precip, and swells, but none of that in any kind of major way.Just started reading Doc Jeffs blog again, of course. I make my first post of the season...
