An April Morning

Last night we had still air, temperatures in the low 20s, and high humidity. At some point we got a light dusting of snow. Driving to work in the early morning darkness and heavy fog I could see the trees were covered with Hoars frost. I happened upon an open meadow later in the morning just after the sun burned through the fog. The view was amazing, so I stopped at a farmers gate and snapped some photos

It was cool and crisp, the sun was warming, and the promise of renewal was in the air. Relax, take a deep breath, enjoy.

Don't forget to close the gate when you leave.
