hope I got everyone's holiday in the header.
Wanted to stop by before the end of the year
or GACK that date: the 21st! or as we say in the theater
"PARTY LIKE THERE'S NO TO-MAYA"...
Wanted to touch base with those that aren't on FB or TWITTERS or TEXTERS ....
Its been an amazing year and I'm finally breathing again. Finished my two year stint as Commissioner on the Commission for People w/Disabilities where I had the priviledge of chairing Emergency Preparedness. I met so many awesome advocates & learned so much - like, politics sucks, but helping out people is so worth it.
Texas was lucky this past summer - no canes, no fires and NOT the drought of 2011. Although my garden still looks like crap. Couldn't blame the drought, just my lousy gardening. Our winter hasn't been too bad- yet.
Theatre is going on - anti-bully show has toured throughout SE/CENTRAL Texas - *sigh* I dont think we'll ever stamp out bullying, which is good for business, but bad for our kids and other living creatures.
