Same old, same old, wooly again this morning. Can make out the water near the shore, but not much more. Remains calm, 18C for temp. Looking for a wet weekend, hopefully a change will come with the end of the month, whatever bearing that has on the weather.
ROTARY FESTIVAL gets underway tonight, the annual event going to have to contend with poor weather for the duration of the event. This is the long weekend for the middle of summer, should be many folks returning to renew thier Grand Manan roots.
Mom was to participate in the Festival Parade, however weather looks as it might scuttle that possibility.
Travel yesterday, other than fog all the way to and from St. John, light in the traffic area. Boat traffic on both trips pretty well full, a mixture of strangers and local folk.
