Great start to the day, clear, warm 15C, a WSW breeze 10-15KPH, temp to rise a bit more as th day moves along. Moisture in th offing for the remainder of the week, with a possibility of some thunderstorms in the mix.

Local Garden Centre now in commence, Donna has to pass it as she goes to visit her mom each day. A great opportunity to check what is available without making a speacil trip to do so. Her annual sojourn with her old friend coming up in a couple of weeks to check what is available on the mainland.

Emily and Donna getting their miles in each evening, must say Emily is gaining confidence with her miles getting more and more. Rob using the ATV to gather garbage on the empty lot next door, amazing how many miles he can put on to get a piece of garbage to the can.

Morning CHUNKS, yes if I were you would take credit for the weather on the weekend. Another similar day underway here at the moment, starting to hear comments on how dry the woods are, especially for this time of year.
You may have timed your brant sighting just about right, they are bunching up and chattering alot. Almost as if discussing the time to move on further north. They don't drift away, one day they are here, next day gone for another season.
Emily not on the beach Sat., she requires transportation from the old folks, as a result late nights, after 11PM not in her intinerary plans. A bit restrictive I suppose but have to know where she is and such by that time of the day. Haven't had any complaints or back lash as yet, just the way it is.
The GRAND MANAN returns on the 16th, people have some pent up leisure travel to get out of the way, expect she will be busy for the next few months. Especially if the weather is any good at all, 'strangers from away' will be showing up soon.
Have a good one.

Dear Rob:

Another awesome day! Took Gretta for a trail ride today after her lesson. Went up to the woods, hoping for a cooler retreat. To my surprise we were able to go a long way back on our trail. This time of the year the norm is there are too many bogs to cross and huge wet spots - thus not wanting to pull expensive shoes, just turn and come back. However, I felt like it was August. No bogs we couldn't cross. This is the deep woods with a big canopy so this is really starting to scare me. We need rain big time.

That being said - as soon as the boys stepped on the rugby field at 5:30 the heavens opened up with huge wind accompanying? They were all soaked in two seconds. It remained raining off and on with some lightning thrown in for good measure. It wasn't looking too good in the first half - Trevor Sealey got his jaw broke and he is our forward - but anyway we came back in the second to beat KV 24-7, or something like that. A good and rugged game.

It is coming around to huge black thunder clouds so must go batten down the hatches. Glad to hear Em getting driving done. Makes them feel good and then you will be able to pawn off all driving on her when she gets license. It is great.

I am glad the big boat will be back but I still really like the little boat. More mixing of all the passengers.

Got some of pictures back from G.M. trip and have three 'national geographic' ones out of this trip. Hope to up-load if can get help from my techy rent a kid.

Have a good one. Word. Chunks.
