Not cool this morning, but damned cold @-1C, temp to rise into double digits as the weather pattern is changing to the better. Total calm, partial overcast, harbour reflecting Ross Island profile with no problem.
Clammers have been at it most of the week, a couple of them chasing the tide out this morning. There must be some for them to spend the effort on this beach, clams have always been good, but no quantity. One thing to dig for a feed another to dig for cash.
Lobster fishery remains the same, however some guys 'suggesting' the catch might be improving. The next thing is to see what the price looks like this week.

Donna and her buddy getting their respective gardens prepared for planting. Have some work to do on a couple of her window boxes before they visit the garden centres for a couple of days after the long weekend. They have a grand time and help the garden centres have a good year.

It was stinking cold last night and as I scratched away at my millions of blackflies I was screaming in my head "freeze you little ......, freeze!@#^&$%
Anyway ...
This morning was beautiful and just as I arrived home it started to spit a little bit. OH WELL ... now that the sun is out that will make all remaining blackflies come out for lunch to get their temperatures back up. ARG1
Today is gardening, plus, plus, plus, so this is short and sweet but must put on a drive. Have yet ANOTHER bake sale for Friday - this time for the relay for life - so have to get all stuff done and then start baking. I feel the need for a grand manan vacation coming on.
