If this qualifies for Patchy Fog, as suggested by the weatherman, can't imagine what fog will amount to this spring. The shore barely visible, the order of the day, with clearing anticipated tomorrow. Calm at the moment with 25KPH southerly in the forecast.
Lobster price dropping back by $.50/lb, along with a decline in the catch.

We did see a school of something (herring ?) on Saturday. The gulls and porpoise were giving them a good working over. As soon as the fish come inshore my neighbor has a fish trap he will set out.

Hi! How in the h*** can you sell your lobsters for .50 cents a lb? That sounds so rediculous.
I was talking to Gerald today. He told me all about his friend in Whitehead who was accidentally killed. Everytime I went to Geralds in the spring he would call that fellow in Whitehead and ask if there were any brant over his way I could come over to see. It just seems unreal. Gerald was upset.
Jeanne has been having a problem with the computer appaarently and I was getting worried that I hadn't heard from them. Now no reason why. They apparently both are fine.
Gerald also told me about the impending vote to take the tolls of the ferry. Wouldn't that be amazing!
Hopefully, lil Rob will wrap up the driver's test this time. He may even put some effort in to the studying. They do get it after a while. :)
Emily doesn't have too long now before it is all over but the crying. The excitement must be starting to mount.
It was very nice here today - about 15 - but the wind was really up. No wonder Gerald told me you had no wind - you were fogged in. However, call me dense, but I believe both Gerald and Jeanne said it was warm and sunny in Seal Cove? Who knows .....
Well, have a good one. Still waiting for that brant picture. Heard there is quite a raft of them.
Chunks.
