Wooly this morning, can see up the harbour, not quite to the Ross Island shore across. Total calm, 7C, weather forecast telling fog, followed by showers/rain for the remainder of the week. Temps to make it to low double digits, May a dud weather-wise, so far at least.

Rob had a full day, final lobster boat reporting in around 7PM, a little rockweed harvested. Emily had a quiet day at Garden Centre, rain and cool temps not conducive to working in the yard.

Fair amount of moisture down, puddles on the lawn between the house and seawall, ground saturated. Must get the fertilizer on, however temps been so low, not missing much in the growth cycle, leaves still far from abundant on our trees.

The unofficial weekend to start summer a dud, cool @7C, a steady rain, no wind. Temp might make it to double digits, slowly clearing by tomorrow, and return to similar conditions shortly after as the week unfolds.

Returned to Bermuda of the Maritimes first boat yesterday, managed to get the lawns under control. Not a chance to do some repairs on the winter kill, hoped to get at it this morning, not going to happen.

Clearing skies in St. John temp a,very cool 2C possible showers by evening. Only day without moisture next week appears to be Tuesday, also temps still below temps one can expect this time of year.

Attended a HSGGARD concert in Winnipeg decades ago, must say the quality of his efforts have improved a great deal. Grand entertainment, the HAG on stage for more than an hour hasn't lost any of his skills, support group very good.

Can't quite fathom what time of year looking out the window would indicate. A northerly draft, overcast, a cool 5C doesn't give one the idea spring has sprung by any stretch. Temp might make it to the double digits, if so not far. Possible sunny periods for today and tomorrow, upcoming week not much difference with the possibility of moisture most days.

Off for an overnighter to St. John to take in Merle HAGGARD, last time I took in his show in Winnipeg d...

A nice looking morning underway, a draft from NE making the 8C seem a bit cooler, a few clouds. Weatherman suggesting partial cloud and temp to hit low double digits. The long weekend not looking to be great, temps are cool, overcast and rain by Monday, long range not very optimistic.

A few of the boats suggesting the catch is picking up, but still not an overall picture. Price still in a state of flux, haven't heard what was paid this week.
