Someones parakeet escaped. He's been hanging out with the sparrows. Coming to the feeder. He can't be coaxed inside. Many pets prefer to be taken care of. Not this guy, Mr. Parakeet has made his choice.

OK - September 10th it is! And you might really take a look around for that Talenti. It shouldn't be too hard to find, because it's made in - Dallas! Yep, that's where it got it's start. There's so much online information about it, I just don't know how I missed it. And, it's in nearly all the groceries now - Kroger, Safeway, Whole Foods, etc. If you go to their main page, they even show you which varieties are good for vegan folks, etc. Amazing. (Actually, the vegans only get one, but there are varieties for other groups. I can't remember what they are now.) I just came home with four (yes, FOUR) flavors, because they were significantly on sale. I've tasted each now, and have moved them as far back in the freezer as I can. Hi Prose, yes the ice cream vibe is in the air. Good time of year for the ice-cream blog. Oddly, I'm looking forward to turning 50. Will really be happy to see 70 if I'm in good shape like my friend Barbara who just bought a windsurfing board. (Heck I'd like to be up to windsurfing right now) Hi Shore, I have seen that brand while oogling the frozen treat section. It is spendy. Glad you found a good sale. I usually get a couple of the tiny Ben&Jerry or Haagen Daz single cups. May splurge on this new one. Hi Rob, that would have been soooo cool. I'd be happy for days if I saw that in my backyard. I have to admit to having become a bit jaded over the years, but it does seem that there is always something new and cool to see. Was nice to have north winds for a change all weekend so I could spend most of it outside for a change. Can't wait for the temps to go down a little! Good Morning, it is a beautiful clear morning and Orion is in the sky to the east. Must be autumn approaching. Sandi, Chocolate Cake! You are playing my song :) Will be waiting by the e-mail box. Virtual calories should off-set all the others I'm going to get this month. Hi Rob, that is how we still know we are alive by how many wonders show up and catch our attention. Even a breeze thats appreciated knocks some of the jaded off. Hi BC, How cool is is that! We get to have all kinds of celebration. Life is good and Love is good. Hi Shore, the cool front will be welcome. I'm not leaving until the end of the month because Sis could not get any time off approved for earlier.
