Voice to Text---
.Looking down into the Sea this morning this image is showing no chubbascos or rain in the Sea for the past 24 hours. Yuma radar is not showing any rain in the northern Sea last night.
However, using an old weatherman trick, I took a peak outside and there was a mix of whispys and fluffys out over the bay.
Looking over to Sonora I can see that there was moderate thunderbumper activity working its way north into Arizona. It looks like only a few small cells moved across the border into the Tucson area. These quickly moved to the NE and I doubt they had any rain at all, perhaps in the higher elevations.
Looking now south I can see that the entire west coast of Mexico is clear of any cloudiness or for that matter any thunderbumper back in the mountains. Even the Tehuantepec is currently clear this morning. They did have a small thumper come though early this morning but the Gulf is clear this morning.
Looking out into the Eastern Pacific basin I can see just some high whispys between here and Hawaii this morning.
The ITCZ/Monsoon trough has dropped back down to around 110N where it normally is this time of year and along the zone there are numerous thunderbumper working and they are all staying within the zone and not moving north.
Looking out into the Atlantic for some signs of a Tropical wave headed our way and there is nothing between here and Africa where these waves originate. Sister Debby, the tropical storm that has deluged Georgia and Florida for several days has finally moved over the Florida panhandle as a tropical depression.
So there is absolutely nothing cooking in our Tropical Kitchen this morning and that looks like that is it for our hood so looking now north to the west coast of America where the entire west coast is pretty quiet this morning.
The high pressure filling in the western conus will steadily warm things up in the west for the next week. Along the coast they will not be seeing the heavy fog and June Gloom that prevailed last week. Most of the grey stuff should clear by mid morning.
This image is showing just a few patches of fog along the coast from around Pt. San Quinten north.
Southern California mountains and deserts will see some gusterly conditions in the afternoon and evening hours and slowly rising daytime highs inland.
Looking now over to the southwest where moisture will start to decrease today and continue that trend during the remainder of the week into the weekend as high pressure expands over the area. They could see some isolated thunderbumpers today. The weekend looks like a better opportunity for monsoon moisture to return to the region.
Well, that’s what is going on to the north of us. Back on this side of the Fence the entire Sea of Cortez will be see mostly moderate SE or SW winds for the 3-day forecast period. The GFS model is showing the northern crossing which is normally fairly calm during the night to see ballpark 18 knot winds during the night tonight and then calm after that. Don’t chisel that in stone because the Sea does not always listen to my forecasts.
Temperatures today will be about the same as yesterday and be in the mid 90s for most locations.

That’s my weather for this morning. Just a reminder that a week from today we will be celebrating American Independence day here in El Burro Cove with a picnic during the day and fireworks after dark.

73s Y’all
