As I've written before, 94L does NOT have much of a chance of making it across the Atlantic. It should be steered west, then WNW around the periphery of the high in a few days. However, early indications are that this could be our first major hurricane of the season.
Depending on the strength of the system, there could be a big model shift in the next few days. Of course things can change. (I have to add that in case I'm wrong, then I could always say, "I told you it could change)
TD7 has a good chance for at least TS development. Only two models currently bring it to minimal hurricane strength. However, as Dr. Masters has explained many times, the geography of the BOC can help cause a spin to any system there. It is looking very good this morning.
TD7
Early models of the EMCWF show 94L to be further south than the other models for right now.

A very self-important college freshman took it upon himself to explain to a senior citizen ... ... sitting next to him why it was impossible for the older generation to understand his generation.
"You grew up in a different world, actually almost a primitive one", he said in a voice loud enough for many nearby to hear. "We, the young people of today, grew up with television, jet planes, space travel, men walking on the moon, our spaceships have visited mars, we have nuclear energy, electric and hydrogen cars, computers with light-speed processing, and…" he paused to take another swig of beer…
Which the senior citizen took advantage of to say,
"You know, son, you're right. We didn't have those things when we were young… so we invented them. Now, you arrogant little fart, what are YOU doing for the next generation?"
The applause was resounding.
I love senior citizens.

I've been trying to figure out where to drop this link, and I think this is one good place. Anyone who loves great street rods or respects the military will love this Tribute.

You mean we gotta talk about weather again?
LOL
Okay. Thanks for the update Grothar!

We can't talk about cars all the time, although I would like to.
Good afternoon, Grasshoppper.
One quick statement on, "Cars"?
Now, back to the weather!
I see that Mexico is about to get wet again. Hopefully, not more than they are able to handle.
Gee, I thought you would never ask about my car!
She said she didn't want to attract any attention.
Right.
Ooooops! I may have inadvertently started something. .. I promised myself that I was going to be good too. ... sigh
Well, now that the car is out of the garage, those are nice looking cars! Fords, right????
Snake, did you hear the story of how Henry Ford came up with the idea of an assembly line? Without which, ALL cars would be a limited edition.
Grothar, I see that Pottery might be in for some more bad rains.
OOH. That's nice!!
Who would even notice.
not bad nice place
About time, KEEP. I've had some good ones that you missed.

Unfortunately, the young folks today have no memory of us "walking on the moon".
Sad, that!
You've got weather, you've got stories, you've got cars, and some interesting links. I think you are lacking in one area...music!
I'm on it!
