This was an intact van sitting abandoned on the side of Haystack below my duplex when I moved here. 4 years later the weather has had its way, and the van has exploded over that time. There was junk inside it, including the antique desk. Its location means it will remain a part of many of my photos until the wind finishes off the job.
Or someone cleans it up.
That desk is visible now.

Early this morning when I was attempting to photograph the aurora, the outdoor Christmas tree, on a timer, suddenly lit up.
The camera setting was at 5 seconds, so this is a 5 sec exposure... and as you can see, I wiggled...

trees. It looks like he's saying something to me and
I'm kind of glad I couldn't hear what it was. LOL

This evening I went to Treasure Island, across San Francisco Bay from the City of San Francisco where I took these photos.
