System stuck up over Labrador will continue to keep us on the cool side and and occasionally wet.Next wet period will be late tomorrow through tomorrow night. We still need more rain,so not going to complain.
Everything is so far ahead of schedule, with leaves nearly 60 percent full, grass is long and green, shrubs like azeleas are ready to bloom.Really looks like mid May right now.
Bruins have their 7th game tonight, here in Boston, can only hope they continue. Most of the top seeded teams have been knocked out of the playoffs, except for the Rangers and Bruins.
Redsox continue a fun road trip so far, beating up on the Twins.Lets see how it goes from here.

Boy, that Phil Collins tune really takes me back in time! Sad that he's seemingly retired from the music industry, as I haven't heard any recently recorded tunes of his for quite some time! Remember when he was the lead singer and drummer for Genesis? Loved that group in the late 70's. I'm so old! LOL!
This brisk weather pattern we're now in is quite the reality check! No fun returning to piling on the winter clothes or turning our thermostats back on again! I happened to see, this am, that the far western portions of our Commonwealth have freeze warnings in place! Hope it doesn't make its way due East!!! BRRRR! Some of our local, earlier than normally bloomed flowers, (daffodils, crocuses, etc.), or those usually seen in mid to late May, are remarkably hanging in there despite this confusingly strange up and down season. I think May's going to produce a further conundrum for many avid gardners.
Well, hope that the Bruins will keep their playoff chances alive this evening. There's not much else to be enthused about these days for local sports or weather fans, so it would be nice to have something positive to talk about. Sadly, I still don't hold any faith in the Red Sox overcoming all the off season changes resulting in an apparent lack of talent or skill this year. The new manager, Bobby Valentine, should have remained retired or on ESPN! How I miss those old glory days, the former manager and players of yore!
P.S. For those of you who have Administrative Assistants (or what we used to call secretaries), please give them, at least, a small token of appreciation today, as it's ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTS DAY!

Would like to see a warmup,at least back to the 60's or 70's.I really enjoy those spring days before the humidity sets in.
Hi again, NEw ~
Hopefully, those rains will skirt around my area, this go round, as the mix of damp and chilly sure make my joints ache.
