Heat wave

We are officially in a heat wave with 90 degree days now at 4 for my area,and probably 2 maybe 3 more to go,before we get some welcome relief,with lower temps and lower humidity into next weekend.
Chance for storms wednesday afternoon,but right doesn't look severe at this point.
Took Prince to the hospital Saturday to check his heart and kidneys.
He has more energy,but they found the kidneys not good which is due to the heart medication,so we had to stop that for a day.Basically the sad news is he has two problems heart and kidneys and the medication for each problem is opposite.One medication is working against the other,so its day to day with probably not much time left.If he looks really uncomfortable we will have to make the tough decision to stop his suffering.Both of us are really dreading this time,but we both know its going to be soon rather than later.
I start my vacation on Friday and will be out for a week,I'm hoping this weather continues through next week. A lot going on at the house,but hope to get some beach time and maybe some relaxing,not sure how much.Maybe if I run away??

Oh NEw, I am so sorry about your good Prince. Making these decisions is so sad and painful, but it is a decision that we pet owners have to make when it seems time. I have been thinking about you and your wife and that good doggie, and have been dreading the news. I guess the best you can do is just make over him and love him until it's time.
