Battle of the Bugs

Welcome to The Ark

Well, there have been some interesting developments of late concerning my friend RTLSNK. (funny how many interesting developments he finds himself in the midst of). Once again he finds himself dealing with a creepy-crawly infestation. This time it's not rhino beetle giganticus, but perhaps something a bit more sinister. I'll just post the report I recently read from him:

(begin Transmission)

Todays Garden Report is brought to you by The Macon Master Gardener, Sugar Bear.

Fear not boys and girls, for we are about to talk about an invasion.

Macon has been invaded by the nafarious KUDZU BUG.

It was discovered in Athens, Georgia in 2009, and has now spread throughout Georgia, Alabama, and the "Carolinas".(yuk yuk yuk) Both of them!!!

It does eat the dreaded Kudzu Plant, however, it also eats everything else in the world. It likes to spend the winter in the walls of your home to stay warm. It is about the size of a Ladybug but a little smaller. It also flys extreemly high for a little bug so strong winds will blow them everywhere.

If you find one inside your home DO NOT STEP ON IT. It is known as a STINKBUG and has a horrible smell. Use the vacuum hose to pick them up instead.

Here is a photo of the little critter:

Further reports on this ongoing operation will be released in the comments section below as they become available.

Good Morning!
I trust that Hood & Snake are feeling 100% this morning, 'cos it's a Beautiful One!

Heading for the Mountains in a while, to bring some stuff back here from there.
There be some grey clouds Hoovering, and maybe a shower later?
'Twould be Nice!

Have a Good One, but Beware the Consequences!

Morning everyone, thanks for the good wishes, actually feeling better this morning, had the first good nights sleep since Monday. Tough little head cold. SugarBear made some chicken stir fry using some red hot Thai Peanut Sauce that burned those little bad guys right out of my sinuses.

I must warn you, this technique is not recommended for the faint of heart! :)

Good Morning, RTL!

Do me a favor,
go to this blog and solve my riddle in #9.
Don't know if you've ever seen it, but I'm sure you can figure it out!

Pottery,
After I get a few things done, I'm going to start a new blog.
Beware of "Hoovering clouds". You might get sucked into a vortex.
