Tomorrow is another day ...

My Bucket List
Posted by: ScarlettOHara, 10:30 PM GMT on May 18, 2012 +1
Been thinking lately about things I want to do, so I decided to start a bucket list ... LOL ... it'll be awhile before most of them get done ...

1. Write a book. Does not have to be published, just want to do it.

2. Take a photography class.

3. Make my kids scrapbooks from the rubbermaid containers of things I have kept all these years.

4. Visit every state in the country.

5. Take a cruise.

6. Visit either Australia or Scotland.

7. Get to the Cayman Islands and see Crab and Bride.

that's all for today .. much more to come. Any suggestions? ;)

That's a fine start, Scarlett! I really like #7, of course ;o)

How about:

8. Dance like a mad fool in the street for no reason whatsoever, refusing to stop, even when the police show up (could make a video that goes viral, which leads to #9)

9. Enjoy 15 minutes of fame via being featured on TOSH.0

10. hot air ballon ride (one from my list)

11. Race in a stock car (although,OfCourseItWon'tACTUALLYBeAStockCarBecauseThatTermIsAntiquatedBecauseWeInsistOn
HangingOntoTermsOfYesteryearToRemindUsOf"TheGoodO ldDays"YourResultsMayVaryPleaseUseCautionVoidWhere ProhibitedForExternalUseOnly
)

13. Fill a 15-minute stand-up comedy slot at a club

That's all I've got for now!

You could combine 7 & 8 and dance like a mad fool when you go to visit Crab in the Cayman Islands?? I know that's what I would do ... the Happy Dance!

:o)

Hey Crab and ME! thanks for your thoughts ..

I will amend list later .. but I like the combining 7 & 8. LOL

#10 is a definite add ... almost did this in Steamboat Springs one time but it was too windy ..

#11 .. can check this one off - I did not race but have rode in one! My uncle drove late model stocks at a little track where I grew up. Mostly what I remember is how loud it was .. LOL

I will have to think about the comedy act (Crab - you surely could do it ...) I'd gather too many rotten tomatoes being thrown at me! LOLOL

good ideas .. have to keep thinking!

Sooooooooo, we were out with Obug today, and talking about your blog, and m'Bride said, "yeah, I have a few things for my bucket list, but what about including an anti-bucket list as well?"

Now, I think that has merit, because there are more than a few things that -- having done them, and survived -- I'm pretty dang sure I don't want to do them again. Some things, I haven't done and inherently know I don't want to do them.

Well, just a suggestion.

Bucket: See Kansas in concert while they're still kickin'
Anti-bucket: Justin Bieber concert.

Which reminds me........ do you suppose there is a dark one somewhere...... the anti-Bieber? Would they annihlate if they every met? Would the world cheer, if so? Hey, SOMEbody has to think these thoughts.

NEVERmind. Miss you Scarlett.

Heya kiddo, you still about? Miss you.

Recent bucket list entry for us that actually seems attainable: We're making trails through the bush, and planting fruit trees along the way. This started by make a re-trail in a place where Paloma closed the previous one. Time went by, and the bush reclaims everything.

We came across Ascerola (West Indian) cherry trees that we planted 17 years ago, and figured that they were long gone. Four of the six live, and they are mighty big for a cherry bush -- 15 feet.

Soooo, our recent bucket list is to reopen the original trail to the bluff. We have a new one, and it takes quite a while, because all bush and trees have to be removed, which involves either pulling them out of the ground with a comealong, or using a hammer and chisel to break them out of the rock. Yeah, it takes time. Unlike previous trails, these won't grow in quite so quickly.

I remember that along the original trail, there is a whole, fossilized conch shell embedded in a two-ton rock. I hope to find it again.
