Updated July 3rd~ weekly is out. Their summary stayed the same reading~ dynamic models call for rapid transition to La Nina where statistical models & recent trends in surface & subsurface tempuratures suggest either a slower evolution to La Nina or the continuation of ENSO neutral conditions.

Regions 1&2 dropped .8 to -1.9, region 3 stayed at -.5, 3.4 fell from .1 to 0, and region 4 fell from .4 to .2

With region 3,4 at 0 we are in offical true nuetral conditions.

ESPI dropped from -1.23 to -1.42 for the last weeks for the last 30 days. My forecast for the next few weeks... The fall of ENSO is on. Make it to La Nina? we will see.

Through 300 am...widespread showers with a few embedded lightning storms will continue over the adjacent Atlantic. Onshore flow associated with an approaching frontal boundary...currently over Flagler County...will drive some shower activity onshore north of a line from Titusville to Sanford. Happy 4th Skye! I am probably more a windfan than cloudfan, but basically just a sucker for colorful imagery. blobs give a good excuse to aim all sensors one direction.. people who watch way to much satellite & we're not talking TV club, yeah that sounds about right. Aqua has suggested WUSSA (Weather Underground Satellite Stare'rs Anonymous) haha.. gonna have to work on that but kinda like that too, like "Yo, Whussa.." Showers and thunderstorms will continue to rotate across east central Florida around a broad low pressure center near the Florida West Coast through the afternoon hours. Shower and thunderstorms along the West Coast sea breeze will move into Okeechobee and southern Osceola counties with very heavy rain...and frequent lightning. Additional showers and storms will develop through late afternoon across inland sections of the coastal counties from southern Brevard to Martin as the East Coast sea breeze moves slowly inland. Numerous showers and scattered storms will also develop around Metro Orlando and track westward toward Lake County through late afternoon. At 350 PM...weather radar detected a line of scattered lightning storms with heavy rain stretching from near Kissimmee to Blue Cypress Lake to central Saint Lucie County to eastern Martin County. Through 600 PM...these storms will move very slowly east toward the coast at 5 mph or less and will result in one to two inches of rain in less than an hour...wind gusts up to 30 mph and occasional to frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes. Elsewhere across east central Florida...scattered showers and isolated lightning storms will move from east to west at 10 mph across areas north of a line from Kissimmee to Cocoa. This afternoon with housefull of neighbor and some kids got almost 3" (2 3/4) in a couple of hours, flooding everywhere. at this poing, we we have a tropical system, the very south of Florida will severely flood. Sky, with the center of the 1017mb low over us, we haven't had much wind today. Our average for the day was 3.9 mph out of the ESE. Guess as long as that low is over me and doesn't want to reform over the Gulf Stream, we are safe for the moment... Acting strange tonight. Was 74.3 when you posted that, but my temperature has been rising since midnight. Usually means we will have morning rain in the summer. We'll see.... GOODNIGHT EVERYONE!!!! Through 230 PM...numerous showers and isolated lightning storms will continue to develop across interior portions of east central Florida from Metro Orlando south to Lake Okeechobee. Additional showers and thunderstorms along the space and Treasure coasts will track to the north northeast around 15 mph. Showers and storms will be capable of producing very heavy rainfall amounts around two inches. This will cause ponding of water on roadways and minor flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas...especially near the East Coast. Scattered showers and storms will also develop into the late afternoon northwest of the Interstate four corridor. Through early evening...large areas of rain lingering across coastal sections from south Brevard to the Palm beaches should continue to decrease in coverage. However...a few showers or thunderstorms over the interior may push back to the coast. Isolated showers and thunderstorms will affect areas from North Lake County and Deland to South Lake County and Disney. Hey everyone! Lightning had me off line a good bit of the afternoon. That was reminicent of strengthening Tropical Storm lightning, not so frequent but huge, loud, really deadly, destructive when it hit kinda lightning. At one point the pressure here was 1011.4mb. The low looks to be south of Daytona at the moment. Morning Rays & Laura, Ogal hope ya got the landscaping in today. I spent the morning catching up on barn chores. psualum95~ look forward to it & It hardly made it above 80� here today. Lotta rain, minor street & yard flooding.. Gonna go tend ponys a bit while there's a break in it. Ahh the RGB loop finally loaded, that low is trying to spin up. Hmm~ shear 10-20kts & decreacing. Through 5 PM...scattered lightning storms some containing very heavy rain and frequent lightning will move northeast across central Florida. Most activity will occur south of the Interstate four corridor from the theme Parks to Kissimmee and Cocoa...south to the space and Treasure Coast...as well as Osceola and Okeechobee County. Periods of heavy rain and wind gusts to 40 mph will accompany the stronger storms. Deadly lightning strikes will occur with any storm. Move to a sheltered location well before the storms approach.
