Happy 4th of July..!
I am probably more a windfan than cloudfan, but basically just a sucker for colorful imagery. blobs give a good excuse to aim all sensors one direction.. people who watch way to much satellite & we're not talking TV club, yeah that sounds about right. Aqua has suggested WUSSA (Weather Underground Satellite Stare'rs Anonymous) haha.. gonna have to work on that but kinda like that too, like "Yo, Whussa.."
Now for a nice colorful image for the fourth
Showers and thunderstorms will continue to rotate across east central Florida around a broad low pressure center near the Florida West Coast through the afternoon hours. Shower and thunderstorms along the West Coast sea breeze will move into Okeechobee and southern Osceola counties with very heavy rain...and frequent lightning. Additional showers and storms will develop through late afternoon across inland sections of the coastal counties from southern Brevard to Martin as the East Coast sea breeze moves slowly inland. Numerous showers and scattered storms will also develop around Metro Orlando and track westward toward Lake County through late afternoon. Showers from the Atlantic will also move onshore along the Volusia County coast with periods of light to moderate rain.
Happy 4th to you. You haven't posted here since right after mid night.....hummmmmm
Man we re getting downpours everyday. This afternoon with housefull of neighbor and some kids got almost 3" (2 3/4) in a couple of hours, flooding everywhere.
at this poing, we we have a tropical system, the very south of Florida will severely flood.
Oh hope you are enjoying your day.
1.58 for the month so far
Hope you are enjoying your day
Look for you later.....
Thanks for the 4th wishes..mmm pie, the not so littlin loved the ovature & Pat's pic. Thanks for the laugh Rainman.
Gamms ~scary how quick ya'll went from wishing for a TS to not. Getting that way here too. Seems backwards the last few years, used to dry years were 'cane years. 2004 certainly was a wet one before the storms. '99 before that TD that flooded this place had been wet. I should research that some. Look you done gone & inspired me.
psualum95~ Thanks again for keeping up the warnings & what not. Glad ya saw some rain. Had atleast an inch here. & I'm probibly always cooler cause I'm so close to the beach. & better luck to ya on a day with a west wind, lotta SE wind lately.
18Z GFDL Phase diagram of our low~
off to sleep with me
74.1º
Guess as long as that low is over me and doesn't want to reform over the Gulf Stream, we are safe for the moment...
Acting strange tonight.
Was 74.3 when you posted that, but my temperature has been rising since midnight. Usually means we will have morning rain in the summer. We'll see....
GOODNIGHT EVERYONE!!!!

Hi Skye, following Rays this morning. All quiet here but I guess rain later today. Got landscapers coming today. Really need to get this project done. Hope all is well at your house.
In the last hour, our winds have switched to the NW and pushed the rain away from us.
87 with a 75 dewpoint...Yuck!!!
Oh, and there is more to that e-mail, I just didn't want to swamp you with all the details all at once!!! LMAO
Morning Rays & Laura, Ogal hope ya got the landscaping in today. I spent the morning catching up on barn chores.
psualum95~ look forward to it & It hardly made it above 80º here today. Lotta rain, minor street & yard flooding..
Gonna go tend ponys a bit while there's a break in it.
Ahh the RGB loop finally loaded, that low is trying to spin up.
Hmm~ shear 10-20kts & decreacing. Great upper level divergance, lacks lower level convergance.. Interesting.
& blob where the yellow is on the probiblities map in EPAC
Barn chores...Hope you didn't mean shoveling the smelly stuff...Ewww!!!
I'll have to check out the new weather stickers. Aaron amazes me.
Laura you seen the ones that are a little smaller than a breyers that are painted up? The one with all the weather on it?
Oh and look at the nice, bright Light Orange patch in the Pacific...
You'd think with that orange patch that would atleast be an invest..
Nearly got a closed Low on the heavily rain contaminated quikscat tonight.
Nite ya'll 75.5º
95~ Yep a full º cooler than you:)
Have a few lone storms trying to form here and there...No surprise with the humidity so high.
Well, I better go to bed or I will not be up until noon!!!
Wandered...Hmmm- I do that a lot and it is the reason nothing gets done!!! LOL

Mornin Skye, hope ya get a little rain. We got nada yesterday. Maybe today.
good morning to you and happy Friday! Did you see on the news that Homestead got 10" of rain yesterday afternoon. Now that makes my 3" on Wed look puny!!! LOL.. man, hurricanes don't leave that much rain behind!
looks like just one more day of rain for us then a few dry days. YIPEE! (cannot belive I can say that now)
hope all is well with you, will be looking for your post later.
take care!
Through 5 PM...scattered lightning storms some containing very heavy rain and frequent lightning will move northeast across central Florida. Most activity will occur south of the Interstate four corridor from the theme Parks to Kissimmee and Cocoa...south to the space and Treasure Coast...as well as Osceola and Okeechobee County. Periods of heavy rain and wind gusts to 40 mph will accompany the stronger storms. Deadly lightning strikes will occur with any storm. Move to a sheltered location well before the storms approach.
Good Evening Skye!!!
Still banging here like it means business. Had 3/4 of an inch earlier. May get more. Month total now at 2.34"
Catch you later this evening...
