Weather or Not!

More Heat Coming to Mid Michigan
Posted by: chatcat, 12:50 AM GMT on July 11, 2012 +0

After wild weather affected Mid Michigan this past week, once again we are in drought mode. The Genesee and Shiawassee County areas received up to one inch of rain from Thursday morning's storm, but one would never notice by what the grass looks like. Everything is very dry and rain is very sparce. With the 90s returning by this weekend, we can only hope that more storms will brew and give some relief to our parched land.

Right now (8:45 PM), our temp is 75.2F, the humidity is 30% and winds are from the northeast at 4 mph. The barometer is 30.11" and rising. Sunrise this morning was at 6:07 AM and it will set at 9:16 PM.

Here is our forecast for the upcoming few days:
Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 55. East southeast wind 3 to 6 mph.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 85. Calm wind becoming east northeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 57. Southeast wind 5 to 7 mph.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 88. Light east wind.
Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 62. Southeast wind around 6 mph.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 88.
