Radar is highly active tonight. img

Looking to tomorrow, we have a 60% chance of rain. We sure could use it.

Elsewhere, TD 2 is no threat to our area, but I do think that it has a good chance of becoming TS Barry sometime tomorrow. Hurricane Hunters are going to fly tomorrow morning, if necessary.

Good evening everyone. Was a very dreary day here in Mobile. After quite a bit of thunderstorm action overnight last night, it has just really been cloudy and cooler than usual today. A welcome respite from the heat we have been having.

Nothing of any significance in the tropics at this time. Some of the models are hinting at some trouble coming down the road, but no time soon.

Have a good night everyone!

I will monitor the situation. Our weather today was warm and dry. Here in...

Happy Father's Day to everyone! It looks to be clear and warm today. As of right now, we are at 83 already with a heat index of 89. I will be monitoring the Bay of Campeche during this upcoming week. The models are indicating that we may have tropical development, but it is too early to tell if it will affect our weather. My thinking right now is probably not, but time will tell.imgimgimgimgCurrent advisory from NWS Mobile:... High rip current risk remains in ef...

Been an interesting weather day here on the Gulf Coast. Cloudy for most of the day, and now the rain has moved in, but not much here in Tillman's Corner. Tornado warnings were issued to our east in Pensacola, and thoughts and prayers go out to those over there, that everything is alright. We are currently watching 92L in the Atlantic. It is still very early but the blogs are heating up at the prospect of tropical activity. The season is still 3 weeks away, but ap...
