Wet and potentially rough weekend
40% chance of rain and storms tonight as a low pressure system forms in the Western Gulf makes its way to the West Central Florida area by Saturday into Sunday. Rain and storms increase to 70% Saturday into Sunday with 1-2 inches of rain on the way and possibly isolated amounts of up to 5 inches. Winds will be gusting to 15 mph but higher in storms. Main risk will be hail and a slight risk of Tornadoes as this system passes over the Tampa Bay area over the weekend. Keep your eye to the sky.
