13:20, 87F, clouding up. breeze from SW. clothes on the line. hay in the hayfeeder. pushing my luck? red-tail hawk circling the farm.
14:20, had to get feed in cow town. lots of thunderheads, mid 80's, recent rain. leaving town with hay and feed, the tailgate fell down going over a speed bump. 2 bales fell out in an intersection of a back road. a young man in a ford F150 pickup stopped and retrieved the bale in the intersection while I loaded the 1 that fell off at the stop sign. a good samaritan.
16:10, 84F. light rain. the hay's in the barn and the clothes have been taken in. half of them were all dry. teeshirts had damp sleeves.
