Hi {{{EVERYONE}}}, I hope you are all doing well! My time has been short here lately, but I just had to put up a special Happy Birthday to my dear hubbie, {POPS}!
As you know we have six beautiful daughters together, and he is such a wonderful father. Ya gotta give the man alot of credit for surviving, having seven women around the house for years! LOL!:) Oh and our 15 year old dog is female too!....POOR POPS:)
He is also a wonderful Grandpa to our seventeen grandkids. We are so blessed to have this GREAT man in our lives!
His health is very bad now, yet he still worries about all of us.
SOOOOOO...HAPPY BIRTHDAY POPS!! WE LOVE YOU!
I will be posting soon about my adventures with my grankids for the hurricane season. We have plans again, that maybe will help someone out. It's alitte different this time!!

The "Bear" and Mama!
Whoa, well, I'm no Alabama fan(hehe). Nope, not at all; but, I am a fan of Coach Paul Bear Bryant. And, the reason, aside from his outstanding career as a coach, etc, many years ago he recorded a commercial for AT&T with a line that said, "HAVE YOU CALLED YORE MAMA, TODAY?" And, that sort of stuck. I don't talk to her every single day, but we talk regularly...and when I've missed a day or two "The Bear" speaks in my head and I have to pick up the phone and call!
So, in respect, love and appreciation for my mother and all of the wonderful mom's out there, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! And, if your children can't visit you today, I surely hope you get a call from them. God bless you for all you do!
...and, call "your" Mama if you still can! And, if she's no longer with us here, I'm pretty sure she can still hear you! ;)

You so honor me with your poem. You are much too kind to me. I do however care for my personal family, my friends and colleagues, and for my WU friends some of whom have become personal friends.
A year ago this month my son signed me up for WU. At the time I was skeptical and figured that I'd just post photos and that was that. BUT I grew to like this community! I wish that I had been part of it earlier...
You are a good poet, I bet that you have written some lovely poetry. You might have already shared some of it on WU, but if not, please post more when you have the time to do so.
I am so sorry for the problems that surround you at this time. Know that many of us are praying for you and your family.

I got alittle rain here today for the first time in two months or more. It was wonderful to see! There was lightening with it, so hope no fires start!
